For the International Leader of Tomorrow Award of Karen McKellin, you:

  • must display a level of financial need which would prohibit you from pursuing a degree in UBC
  • need to be a foreign student and study on a Canadian permit in Canada
  • UBCs from approved high colleges, schools or other universities must be joined
  • have to apply for the first degree
  • have to prove superior academic results (at least an A average or equivalent standard) (at least an A average or equivalent standard)
  • must fulfill the criteria of UBC admission, including general and relevant graduate requirements as well as the English Language Admission Level
  • must display a level of financial need which would prohibit you from pursuing a degree in UBC
