Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı grants the Diyanet Burslari Scholarship. The Turkish Diyanet Vakfı Bachelor’s program is fully funded by the Diyanet Vakfı program and is available to study in Turkey by foreign nationals. The program is for the Islamic Theology Bachelor’s Program (Basic Islamic Sciences, Philosophy, and Religious Studies, and Islamic History and Arts).

The Turkish Diyanet Vakfı Bachelor Program aims at contributing to the Islamic education of Muslim community groups and building cultural bridges between Turkey and related society.

Applications are made for the academic year 2021-2022 for the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation Scholarship program. The scholarship program of the Turkish Diyanet Foundation is entirely funded by the Diyanet Foundation and is open to foreigners willing to study in Turquie.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to qualify for a bursary to the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation for international students.

  • He/she must not hold Turkish citizenship or for any reason lost Turkish nationality
  • he/she must be born on or after January 01, 2000
  • No mental or physical health issues or research obstacles
  • Having graduated with a minimum degree (70 percent) from high school (equivalent to grade 12 in Turkey)
  • Not to avoid studying after high school for more than two years
  • During their education in their country, they were not disciplined or convicted;
  • Those previously studying at any level of education at the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation can apply unless their bursary has been finished by the Foundation
  • Those currently studying in Turkey are not qualified to apply to the Islamic Studies Program of Turkey Diyarnet Burslari scholarship

For those interested in applying for this scholarship, you must apply through the scholarship online portal. You must either apply now or unfailingly before the deadline date which is March 15, 2021. Any applicants who fail to apply before the date won’t be considered.
